Kyabjé Dungse Shenphen Dawa Norbu Rinpoche is the soul of Nyingma Tersar.

There are no words to express the immense gratitude we feel for our perfect teacher. His generosity and fearless compassion guided those fortunate of us who were blessed with his presence in this life.

His life was a constant example and inspiration for breaking mental concepts and continuously hitting the belief in a self. His energy, which was pure love, was expressed in multiple ways according to the needs of each individual.

His sense of humor and his ability to turn all situations into a teaching made each moment by his side unique and priceless.

Throughout his life he served and contributed to the work of his father, Kyabjé Dudjom Rinpoche, Jigdrel Yeshe Dorje, to institute the Dharma in the West, and tirelessly provided constant support and protection to those of us who were his heart disciples.

We hope and pray that in all our future lives we will be able to prostrate again at his lotus feet and be blessed by his immense compassion.
